Hamid Ahsan Noshahi Qawwali Group is a traditional Qawwali ensemble deeply rooted in family heritage and spiritual performance. The group has remained within the family of Ahsan Ali for nearly 400 years, passed down through generations with dedication and honour. This is not simply music, but a lifelong responsibility to preserve authentic Qawwali tradition.
The late Mohammed Tufail Noshahi played an important role in shaping this journey and entrusted the continuation of the family group to Ahsan Ali Noshahi. Alongside the legacy of the late Moon Noshahi, one of the respected tabla players of his time, the family built a strong foundation of musical excellence that continues today.
Ahsan Ali performs regularly at major shrines across Pakistan, especially at the shrine of Sarkaar Noshah Ganj Baksh, where he developed a unique Darbari Qawwali style. With over 150 shrine performances each year, the group remains closely connected to the spiritual heart of Qawwali.
For generations, Hamid Ahsan Noshahi Qawwali has carried the responsibility of preserving authentic Qawwali with sincerity and honour. Our music is rooted in spiritual devotion, classical discipline, and a deep understanding of traditional Sufi performance. Every stage we step onto reflects not only experience, but a living legacy built through faith, family, and timeless musical heritage.
Our performances are built on authenticity, not imitation. Every member of the group understands the discipline, timing, and spiritual depth required for true Qawwali.
A rare musical heritage preserved across centuries within one family line.
Featured on Pakistani TV channels, radio, newspapers, and recognised by arts councils and public institutions.
Invited to perform across France, Spain, Norway, and Germany for cultural and spiritual events.
The shrine of Hazrat Noshah Ganj Baksh (RA) in Ranmal holds a deeply respected place in the spiritual heritage of Punjab. Known as a revered Sufi saint, scholar and poet, Hazrat Noshah Ganj Baksh (RA) is associated with the Naushahi branch of the Qadri Sufi order. Devotees visit the shrine to pay their respects, seek spiritual reflection and honour a legacy rooted in devotion, humility and divine love. Although Ranmal is historically linked with the wider Gujrat region, current references also place the shrine within Phalia Tehsil, Mandi Bahauddin District.
The shrine of Hazrat Chambi Wale Sarkaar (RA) in Sanghoi Shareef, Jhelum, is a respected spiritual centre for followers of the Naushahi Qadri tradition. Devotees gather at the darbar to express love, faith and reverence, especially during Urs gatherings where prayers, remembrance and devotional recitations keep the saint’s spiritual legacy alive. The shrine remains an important place of connection for local and overseas devotees, preserving the values of Sufi devotion, community and respect for the saints of Punjab.
